Dear Friends of New Horizons House,
We are excited to report that construction of the new Transition Home is well underway in Bhirmavaram. Foundation work has been completed and columns are going up quickly for the building. This property is adjoining Browning College and will provide facilities for an increasing number of girls who are studying diligently at the Safe House, passing government educational exams, and aspiring to be admitted to advanced technical education and vocational programs.
Since our last newsletter two of the Safe House girls have passed admission tests and graduated to the temporary Transition Home, bringing the total to 14 girls currently receiving advanced education in computer science, medical lab tech., nursing and advanced vocational programs. We now have 5 girls working in the local hospital. The success of these girls serves as an inspiration to the younger girls at the Safe House.
A mobile clinic operated by a female doctor and technician returned to the Safe House last week, providing a couple of skin treatments and female health counseling. We are thankful that 5 girls that required isolation and care of our staff nurse have completely recovered from covid. The doctor reported that all the girls are now in good health.
We hope to see many of our friends at our Colorado area fundraising event, An Evening Under the Mango Trees, which will be held on April 30, 2026 at the Highlands Ranch Mansion. Tickets are now available online at New Horizons House. We look forward to an exciting evening with a surprise guest speaker sharing with you the joy of being saved from human trafficking.
Together you are leaving the world a better place than you found it…bless you,
Mike Graves
