Reflecting on God’s Faithfulness & Looking Ahead with Hope

As we step into 2026, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Looking back on 2025, we have witnessed God’s incredible goodness and faithfulness in every season. From provision in unexpected ways to the growth and healing we’ve seen in the lives of our girls, we stand in awe of how His hand has guided New Horizons House each step of the way. Truly, “great is His faithfulness” — and we rejoice in all that He has done and for all of those who have come alongside to support New Horizons House!

Christmas Joy & Celebration

The Christmas season was filled with laughter, joy, and wonder here at New Horizons House. Each of our girls received beautiful new dresses — a special gift that brought radiant smiles and heartfelt excitement! The home sparkled with colorful lights and festive décor, reminding us all of the light and hope that Jesus brings into every heart. It was a season of togetherness, celebration, and deep gratitude.

Breaking Ground on Our Second Transition Home!

We are thrilled to share an exciting update — construction has officially begun on our second transition home! This new space will one day provide a safe, nurturing environment for young women stepping into independence and new beginnings. As the first shovels hit the ground, we paused in prayer, thanking God for His provision and asking His continued blessing on every brick, every worker, and every woman who will one day find healing, purpose, and hope here. Please join us in praying for this project — that it will stand as a beacon of renewal and restoration for years to come.

Save the Date!

Mark your calendars — our annual Evening Under the Mango Trees Fundraising Event will be held on April 30, 2026! This cherished evening is a celebration of community, stories of transformation, and the shared mission that unites us. We can’t wait to gather under the mango trees once again, rejoicing in all that God has done and dreaming together about what’s yet to come.

As we move forward into 2026, we do so with expectant hearts — trusting that the same God who has been faithful will continue to lead and bless New Horizons House in incredible ways.

With Gratitude,

Shanna Scott, New Horizons House Board Member
