Dear Friends of New Horizons House,
Thank you for your continued support of the girls at New Horizons House and our incredible staff in India.
Those who serve on New Horizons’ Board are always searching for innovative ways to raise funds, connect with new supporters, and network with like-minded organizations.
In that spirit, on August 2 we held a benefit concert at the home of Cynda Collins Arsenault in Boulder, Colorado. Cynda is a philanthropist and the founder of Women Powering Change, an annual conference held in Denver that brings together over 110 non-profit organizations from Colorado that showcase the work and stories of women making a difference for a more just and sustainable world. New Horizons House has participated in this dynamic expo for the last three years in order to share our mission.
The house concert was held in the backyard garden of Cynda’s home and featured internationally recognized singer/songwriter, Megan Burtt. Megan is based in Colorado and is the winner of numerous honors for her music and songwriting. She is a strong supporter of our work in India and provided a lovely, musical accompaniment for this intimate gathering. All in all, it was a beautiful afternoon in which we were able to forge new friendships and raise funds in support of the new Transition House for the girls and staff in India. I’ve included some photographs from the event below…
For those of you who couldn’t attend, you can still partner with us as we move towards our goal to raise $100,000 in 2025. The funds will allow us to complete construction of a permanent home for our older girls while they attend university and work towards their degree. Join us at https://givebutter.com/wRAD2O.
Thank you for your consistent and faithful generosity – we couldn’t do any of this without you!
Respectfully,
Tim Hillmer
