We are excited to share our latest news with you! Our architectural drawings for the after care house have gone through a revision process over the last several months and will be finalized in early May. May will be a busy month for us because we also plan to begin our initial site improvements which include installation of a perimeter fence, construction of a guard shack and a driveway.
The full cost for site improvement, new construction, and start up costs will be $275,000. Funding to-date for New Horizons House has been provided by a number of people, including our board members, individual and group contributions, and fund raising events. We need your help too! We cannot do this alone and if God has placed a desire in your heart to help little ones who have been trapped in sex slavery, please consider donating to help us raise the funds we need to finish construction, hire initial staff, and open our new after care facility.
Our timeline and budget are available on our website at http://newhorizonshouse.org/timeline and http://newhorizonshouse.org/budget. Please visit and like us on Facebook where you can keep up with our most recent posts. We are also available on Twitter and are happy to answer any questions you may have so give us a tweet!
We have had a number of speaking engagements recently at area churches and will keep you abreast of our fund raising activities during both April and May on Facebook and Twitter. Also, please join us for the National Day of Prayer May 5, 2016, http://www.nationaldayofprayer.org. We will be hosting a booth and one of our board members, Steve Curtis, has been invited to join the prayer task force. We welcome opportunities to speak so please contact us to schedule a presentation at your church or other gatherings
God's blessings to all,
Jonathan Spencer - President
