Dear Friend,

Thanks so much for your interest and support of New Horizons.  Summer is here and I’m pleased to report that, thanks to your continued assistance, construction has begun in India!

After an unprecedented heat wave in Andhra Pradesh (the temperature got up to 128⁰F) we were finally able to break ground in mid-May.  Currently, we are in the process of putting in the driveway, installing a perimeter fence and constructing a guard shack.  I’ve included a couple of photos here.

Meanwhile, a number of folks have recently volunteered to host a “Dessert with a Purpose” in their home to help us get the word out and raise the funds we need to complete construction later this year.  Please contact us if you would be willing to partner with us in this way.  We would love to come and share our story with your church, civic organization or social group!

The Justice Run is coming up on October 2 and we’d love to have you join us!  If you’re in Denver, you can sign up on our website to run/walk with us at Hudson Gardens in Littleton.  If you’re not in Denver (or if you’re not a runner!) you can still sign up and we will receive your registration fee as a donation.

On behalf of the Board, I want to personally thank each of you for your prayers and financial support.  God is providing the necessary resources through you and the difference you will be making in the lives of the girls who have been rescued from sexual slavery is hard to convey.

Jonathan Spencer, President
